You may have trouble searching for a species if you are using a full name search. for example "long-eared owl" must be written as it appears here if the hyphen is missing you will not get a match.

You may find it is easier to search for a species with a partial search term. If you wanted to find Scarlet Tanager in the list you can search for either "Scarlet" or "Tanager" the full name is not necessary.
